The EMR-Bulldozer is a ferrite-assisted synchronous reluctance integrated drive motor that delivers ultra-high efficiency, achieving performance equivalent to IE5, the highest currently recognized international standard. This translates to 3-5% greater efficiency than traditional induction motors when operating at 25-100% load in VFD applications, resulting in rapid payback through energy savings.

 

A key innovation is the use of non-rare earth ferrite compound permanent magnets in the rotor design. This reduces energy losses by 40% and significantly lowers operational noise. The result is a cooler running motor with extended core, stator, and bearing life, minimizing maintenance and maximizing uptime.

Engineered for Durability and Easy Integration

 

Built to withstand harsh industrial conditions, the EMR-Bulldozer features TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) and IP55 enclosures for dust and water resistance. It operates reliably at altitudes up to 3300 feet and in ambient temperatures up to 60°C. The integrated top-mount VFD with DFC control enhances system reliability and longevity, while the near-unity power factor allows the use of smaller, cost-effective VFDs by supplying reduced motor currents.

 

For retrofit projects, the EMR-Bulldozer is engineered as a drop-in replacement, matching the size of standard induction motors and eliminating the need for mechanical modifications. With virtually no rotor losses, it delivers exceptional power density-often fitting into frames up to three sizes smaller than conventional IE2 motors-and provides up to twice the output of similarly sized induction motors.
